MOORHEAD – Trollwood Performing Arts School has announced “The Addams Family” as its 2024 Mainstage Musical.
In a statement released Wednesday, Nov. 15, Trollwood officials said, ”We’re bringing the delightfully macabre world of the Addams family to life at the Bluestem Amphitheater. Join us for a whirlwind of comedy, love, and good old-fashioned family mayhem as we explore the hilariously haunted antics of Wednesday, Gomez, Morticia, and the rest of the clan.”
“The Addams Family” is perhaps best known as the situation comedy starring John Astin as Gomez Addams and Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams. The show ran on ABC-TV from 1964 to 1966. It’s also been featured on animated television specials and was first made into a movie in 1991. It was first performed as a musical on stage in 2010.
Those interested in performing in Trollwood’s production can audition on Feb. 17-18, with callbacks on Feb. 19-20. Orchestra auditions are set for March 6-9. It is open to students who are currently in grades 8-12. Audition slots can be booked by calling 218-477-6500 or emailing

Performances are scheduled for July 16-20 and 23-27 at Bluestem Center for the Arts, home of Trollwood Performing Arts School. Group ticket sales start Dec. 11, and regular ticket sales begin April 15. Check out
