China and the United States agreed to hold talks on artificial intelligence during a summit between Xi Jinping and Joe Biden in California, Beijing’s state media said Thursday.

“Chinese President Xi Jinping and US President Joe Biden agreed Wednesday to establish China-U.S. government talks on artificial intelligence (AI),” state news agency Xinhua reported.
