Adele Got ‘Jock Itch’ After Wearing Spanx to Her Vegas Gigs

Adele got a fungus skin infection during her shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. She said that it was because she was sweating in her Spanx under the hot lights.

The 35-year-old singer made a joke that she had “jock itch” and told the crowd about it.

Tinea cruris, also called “jock itch,” is a fungal skin infection affecting the groin area, including the upper thighs, buttocks, and lower belly.

During her recent residency show, the singer of “Someone Like You” said she was very hot and needed a towel. She later told the crowd that she got jock itch because she sweated so much in her Spanx under the hot lights on stage.

Adele went on to say that her doctor had told her she had jock itch. She said, “It is a bit crude, but I never knew it existed!”

Adele said, “Obviously, when I do my shows, I wear Spanx, keep it all in, and make it all fit me. And I sweat a lot, and it doesn’t go anywhere. So basically, I just sit in my own sweat. And my doctor gave me Jock Itch.”

The Easy on Me singer also told the crowd that she couldn’t wait to get back on stage after a three-month break.
