Selena Gomez tells what happened when she broke her hand.

The 31-year-old singer of “Single Soon” said that she broke her hand over the weekend. Gomez is now talking about what happened earlier this week.

During an interview on The Ellen K Morning Show, she told Ellen K, “I wish I had like a really cool story that I saved someone’s life or something. But I was in a long dress, a summer dress, and I was walking from my car to my house and tripped.”

When the host said that it’s lucky that Gomez hurt her hand and not her teeth, the founder of Rare Beauty agreed with him completely.

“I guess there is a silver lining,” she made a joke. “But this is not fun, this is not fun,” she said again, pointing her soft cast at the camera.

On Thursday, the Wolves singer gave her fans a better look at her injury. In a picture she put on her Instagram Story, Gomez stands in front of her vanity while wearing short shorts and a white tank top.

The actress from “Wizards of Waverly Place” took her hand out of its cast for a moment and used it to pull up her shorts.

Gomez first told people on social media about her injury while trying to stop reports about her new song.

The singer of “Good For You” first made it clear that her new split song is not about her ex, “The Weeknd.”

In a different post, Gomez answered a fan who said that she only put out songs to make money.

“Broke my hand and had surgery. I don’t care about selling anything,” she wrote in the comments section of a Billboard story. “I’m just happy to make music with my friends.”
