Georgia women’s basketball announced the signing of four ESPN Top-100 prospects on Wednesday. Trinity Turner, Mia Woolfolk and twin sisters Indya and Summer Davis will join the Bulldogs for the 2024-25 season.
All four players are four-star prospects, as ranked by ESPN.com. The group also marks the first time that Georgia women’s basketball has signed four or more players ranked in the ESPN Top-100 since 2017.
Turner, a 5-foot-6 guard, is ranked No. 73 overall. She announced her commitment to Georgia on Nov. 11. The Orlando native plays high school basketball at Dr. Phillips and club basketball for Team Essence 17U. Turner was named the 2023 MaxPreps Florida High School Girls Player of the Year, after leading Dr. Phillips to back-to-back 7A state titles. In the 2023 season, she averaged 19.5 points, 10.9 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 4.6 steals per game.
Ranked No. 77 overall, Woolfolk is a 6-foot-2 power forward out of Milothian, Virginia. She plays high school basketball for Manchester High and club basketball for Boo Williams EYBL, and was named the Richmond Times Dispatch Player of the Year. Her commitment came on Nov. 5, after receiving offers from a list of schools including Georgia, Penn State, Syracuse and Eastern Carolina.
Guards Indya and Summer Davis are the fourth pair of twins in program history. They join the likes of twin guards Kelly and Coco Miller, who played at Georgia from 1998-01 and each spent 12 seasons in the WNBA.
Indya, ranked No. 66 overall, was the 2022-2023 Gatorade Player of the Year in Michigan after averaging 15.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Both sisters were named to the Associated Press’ First-Team 2022-23 All-State team. Summer, ranked No. 91 overall, reached 1,000 career points for West Bloomfield High School last season and averaged 19.1 points and four steals per game.
The twins were initially committed to Michigan State, but reopened their recruitment after longtime coach Suzy Merchant retired after coaching the Spartans for 16 seasons. After deciding between schools including Harvard, Penn State, Rutgers and Illinois, the sisters committed to Georgia on Sept. 19.
All four signed their letter of intents as a part of the early signing period, which ran from Nov. 8-15.
