CARROLLTON, Texas — A North Texas woman allegedly stabbed her husband and then drove into a lake with her three children inside the car, according to the Carrolton Police Department.

Police said officers on Friday afternoon were still investigating a domestic violence incident involving a man stabbed with a knife in the 4400 block of Tall Knight Lane, as well as a related accident where someone drove a vehicle into a lake near the 900 block of Hebron Parkway in Lewisville.

Carrollton police, along with Carrollton Fire Rescue, responded to a call at 7:48 a.m. Friday from a man alleging he had been stabbed by his wife. Carrollton Fire Rescue transported him to a local hospital for further treatment. As of Friday afternoon, officials said he is expected to survive.

Family members have been notified and were cooperating with the police investigation. There was no active threat to the public.
