SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – Our friends from Dena’s Kitchen & Catering LLC joined us on 16 News Now at Noon to let us try some of their delicious soul food!

Mardena and Russell told Lauren Moss and Joshua Short about their inspiration for starting Dena’s Kitchen before letting them sample some fan favorites like pot roast, oxtails, yams, collard greens, and mac and cheese! You can check out the deliciousness for yourself in the video above!

Dena’s Kitchen is located at 401 E. Colfax Avenue inside the Commerce Center in downtown South Bend.

The community is invited to Dena’s Kitchen this weekend “Soul Food Sunday.” There will be food, music, games, and more!
