Global technology solutions firm Affle (India) Ltd on Friday announced that it has filed five new patents in India that will strengthen innovations in the domains of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation.
Through these patents, the company is aiming to expand its tech IP assets. In a filing to the stock exchanges, the IT solutions firm said that it has filed for these new patents in India on November 15.
As per the stock exchange filing, the subject areas of the patents include systems and methods for ownership and biometric-based authentication via AI agent; systems and methods for managing a secure cloud based enclave without breaching user privacy; and systems for classifying personal information into relevant segments corresponding to social engagement AI agents in a privacy and ad sensitive manner.
Additionally, other subjects areas for the filed patents are— procedure for augmenting responses and generating enhanced decisions via resource sharing between AI agents, and collaborative AI agent systems with coordinators for shared applications and techniques thereof.
In October, the company announced raising ₹749 crore through a preferential issue of shares to the Government of Singapore.
After the issuance of shares, Gamnat Pte., which is a unit of the Government of Singapore, will own a 4.92% stake in Affle India.
In December 2022, the company had garnered funds by way of a preferential issue of up to 35 lakh shares. This was done to facilitate any inorganic growth at the firm.
Shares of Affle India Ltd were trading 0.71% higher at ₹1032.80 apiece on BSE at 12:04PM.
