Take the kids to a family fall festival
Westchester is one of the best places to take the kids out to a fall festival in 2023, whether you stop by Eugene Field Park on September 24 which hosts carnival games, bounce houses, balloon artists, animals, food, music, and everything in between (there’s even a fantastic free sensory-sensitive hour for children and families with special needs), or go out for the evening on October the 8th for the Fall Is In The Air Festival for the ultimate autumn celebration. There really is something fun for everyone! Don’t forget to get some fantastic footage of your day out and head on over to the CapCut YouTube video editor before sharing it with friends and family!
Don’t miss Oktoberfest
Here in Westchester, there are simply so many Oktoberfest events running from mid-September, so there’s no excuse not to grab your lederhosen, play games, join in some contests, enjoy German live music and food specialties – and don’t forget, your favorite beers!

Bougie Bizarre presents a fright night Halloween market on October the 29th from 12pm to 6pm – and it’s certainly a spooktacular experience not to be missed! With fun for all the family, you’ll be able to explore Halloween-themed market stalls with creepy vendors and spooky products. Find everything from scary artwork to eerie decorations, as well as a costume contest, a live DJ, and much more. As you’re likely to be scared out of your wits, expect your experiences to be recorded with a less than steady hand, but fear not as CapCut has a video stabilization tool that will defy that spooky shake!
PumpkinPalloza: Pumpkins on Safari is an early October event that brings together all of the fantastic features of a safari adventure with the traditional fall pumpkin patch. Sounds like a crazy idea? For sure, but with a photo safari hayride, pumpkin slingshots, face painting, handmade foods, kids’ crafts, and seasonal animal shows; it really does offer something amazingly different.
