Wisconsin Singers hold 56th campus premiere before Midwest tour

MADISON (WKOW) — The Wisconsin Singers held a performance on the UW-Madison campus Friday at the Wisconsin Union Theater.

The Wisconsin Singers, first known as University Singers, was founded in 1967.

It draws students from a variety of majors with a passion for music and performance.

Taking the stage in more than 30 communities each year throughout the state and nation, Wisconsin Singers provides a 90-minute show that features the top singers, dancers and instrumentalists from the campus performing the best of pop music from the past 50 years.

Performer Owen Harris and executive producer Abby Pritzl joined us on 27 News at 4 p.m. to talk about the season.
