Kelsea Ballerini and Chase Stokes were seen getting close in Italy not too long ago.

The two were seen together at a Variety and Golden Globes party at the Venice Film Festival on Thursday, August 31. They had been together since January.

Ballerini, who is 29 years old, kissed Stokes, who is 30 years old, on the cheek in pictures that Daily Mail got. In another picture, she stood with her arms around him.

For the event, the two wore black clothes that went well together. Ballerini looked classy in a plunging, strapless Yves Saint Laurent dress with a matching neck scarf. Stokes, on the other hand, looked dapper in a double-breasted suit with a white shirt underneath and glasses.

Before she started seeing Stokes, Ballerini was married to Morgan Evans for almost five years.

A story from Us Weekly in November 2022 says that the couple’s divorce was finalized three months after they said they were breaking up. After dating for more than a year, Stokes and his co-star on Outer Banks, Madelyn Cline, broke up in October 2021.

Stokes liked Ballerini’s Rolling Up the Welcome Mat EP, which has six songs and is about her breakup and came out in February.

“So proud of you, your heart & your beautiful soul. Congrats kels,” he wrote next to a picture of the two of them that he had shared at the time on his Instagram Story. “Rolling up the welcome mat now streaming.”
