Drew Barrymore, Inks a Heartfelt Tattoo on the Spot on Her Talk Show

Drew Barrymore’s tattoo collection has surpassed the ten mark – and all on live air!

On this week’s episode of The Drew Barrymore Show, the hostess got some new ink with the slogan “I Am Human” etched onto her wrist.

The tattoo artist was none other than Ink Master Season 15 contestant Jon Mesa, who was assisted by Ink Master host Joel Madden.

The 48-year-old former child actor also captured the entire process in a behind-the-scenes video, in which she discussed the reason behind the new design, which she had only thought of the day before, as well as the meaning behind her other tattoos.

“We all talk bad to ourselves. We’re the meanest to ourselves. If someone talked to us like we talked to ourselves, we’d kick them out of the room,” the E.T the Extra-Terrestrial star stated.

Meanwhile, Madden said he liked the idea and praised Barrymore for not flinching or making a face as the needles pierced her flesh.

The award-winning actress valued the validation she received from the lead singer of Good Charlotte, saying, “It set me on my way on little clouds and wings.”

When asked if she loved all eleven of her tattoos, the 50 First Dates star said, “I like 9… and today we’ll make it 10.”

Interestingly, this is the second time the Charlie’s Angels star has had her arm tattooed on live television, the first time being in 2021 when she had the phrase “home is where we are” etched across her arm.
