Dr. Paul Limburg, of the Mayo Clinic and Vince Fritz, an Extension Horticulturist, have made a study of “good for you” fruits and vegetables. They put on events called Chemopreventative Cafes. How’s that for a mouthful? They note that since everyone’s genetic makeup is different, the phytonutrients they describe may not work the same way for everyone.
