NORFOLK, Neb. (News Channel Nebraska) – A car was flipped over and five were sent to the hospital in a crash Saturday afternoon in Norfolk.

Norfolk Police said the two-vehicle accident happened at the intersection of Pasewalk Avenue and 11th Street.

A white jeep reportedly drove past a stop sign, heading northbound on 11th Street before hitting another car that was traveling westbound on Pasewalk Avenue.

The jeep was flipped over on its top and five people were sent to the hospital.

Norfolk Police and Norfolk Fire and Rescue assisted on scene for the crash.
