It is a good moment to evaluate and to assess what has been done in the past, what has to be implemented in the near future; but, most importantly, to see together how to ensure predictable and sustainable financial support to the China-Africa Belt and Road cooperation.”The high-level seminar, which was held under the theme “Financial Support for China-Africa Belt and Road Cooperation,” assessed ways for project and trade financing, China-Africa cross-border payment and settlement, as well as practices to help African countries obtain finance.Experts and policymakers attending the seminar also discussed the contribution and future implications of Chinese investment in Africa as well as China-Africa financing cooperation.Hu Changchun, head of the Chinese Mission to the AU, said during the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) held on Oct. 17-18 in Beijing, China announced eight major steps to support high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
