LOCALLY EXPECTED WEDNESDAY. SO WE’RE REALLY FOCUSING IN ON THIS STORM AS IT IS MOVING IN DURING THE HEIGHT OF THE TRAVEL RUSH THIS WEEK, IMPACTING MUCH OF THE COUNTRY AS WE MOVE TOWARD TUESDAY AFTERNOON. THIS IS RIGHT AROUND 1:00. YOU COULD SEE THE BULK OF THE STORM IS REALLY IMPACTING THE MIDWEST. BUT WE’RE STARTING TO SEE THE WIND INTENSIFYING AT THE COASTLINE DOWN THROUGH THE MID-ATLANTIC AS IT’S STARTING TO APPROACH 95, MOVING DOWN INTO VIRGINIA AND MOVING DOWN INTO SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY. SO IT IS GOING TO RIDE ITS WAY RIGHT NORTHWARD, UP 95 AS WE MOVE THROUGHOUT THE DAY TUESDAY. BY TUESDAY NIGHT, IT STARTS TO GET A LITTLE BIT CLOSER TO HOME HERE. AND AS IT DOES SO, IT’S MOVING INTO COLDER AIR. SO YOU COULD SEE THROUGH THE BERKSHIRES WITH THE ONSET OF THE STORM, THERE IS THAT CHANCE FOR SOME SNOW MIXING IN FOR A FEW HOURS, SOMETHING WE’LL SEE AS IT CONTINUES TO PUSH NORTHWARD. 2 A.M. WEDNESDAY, SNOW AS WE STRETCH THROUGH NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND. MEANWHILE, HERE LOCALLY, SOME MIXING IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN, BUT THIS IS MAINLY A RAIN MAKER. THE NEXT AREA OF CONCERN HERE IS THE HEAVIER RAIN AND ALSO THE WIND. AND THIS IS SOMETHING WE’LL REALLY FOCUS IN ON AS WE MOVE TOWARD WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS IS WHEN WE’LL LIKELY SEE THE STRONGEST PART OF THE STORM IMPACTING OUR AREA WITH HEAVY, STEADY RAIN, RAINFALL IN OUR REGION, BUT ALSO WIND GUSTS APPROACHING THAT 40 MILE PER HOUR MARK. SOME OF THE MODELS INDICATING IT COULD GET EVEN STRONGER, ESPECIALLY OVER CAPE COD. SO THIS IS GOING TO ALLOW FOR REALLY LOW VISIBILITY WITH OUR TRAVEL HERE DURING THAT WEDNESDAY MORNING TIME FRAME. NOTICE THE SNOW THAT WE WERE WATCHING UP TO THE NORTH STARTING TO CHANGE OVER TO RAIN. THAT’S WHY ANY SORT OF SNOW THAT DOES GET OUT OF THE STORM WILL BE CHANGED OVER TO RAIN AND WASHED AWAY. SO IT’S NOT THE GREATEST CONCERN HERE AS WE MOVE TOWARD WEDNESDAY EVENING. THE STORM IS MOVING ON OUT OF HERE. TRAVEL IS LOOKING MUCH BETTER. BY WEDNESDAY NIGHT. AND AS WE MOVE INTO THANKSGIVING DAY. BUT THIS IS SOMETHING THAT’S GOING TO IMPACT MUCH OF THE COUNTRY, ESPECIALLY THE EAST COAST HERE RIGHT ALONG 95 IS WHERE WE’RE TALKING ABOUT THE HIGHEST LIKELIHOOD OF NEAR OR EVEN OVER AN INCH OF RAINFALL, HULL. SO THIS IS GOING TO BE A STEADY AND HEAVY RAIN REALLY MAKING FOR SOME TROUBLESOME TRAVEL HERE DURING THAT TUESDAY NIGHT TO WEDNESDAY TIME FRAME. CLEAR SKIES PREVAILED. FOR NOW, WE HAVE A RELATIVELY QUIET, DRY STRETCH HERE, BUT IT’S A CHILLY START. WE HAVE SOME FROST IN THE SUBURBS AS WE STAY BELOW FREEZING. INITIALLY, WE MAKE A REBOUND TO NEAR 50 THIS AFTERNOON. 40S FROM WORCESTER MOVING NORTHWEST. THE WIND WILL START TO INCREASE AS THIS COLD FRONT GETS CLOSER TO OUR AREA. AND YOU’LL NOTICE THAT BY THE LATE AFTERNOON HERE, THE WINDS STARTING TO STIR. YOU’LL ALSO NOTICE SOME CLOUDS MOVING IN FROM THE WEST AROUND THREE, 4:00. THOSE CLOUDS COULD PRODUCE A FEW FLAKES IN THE MOUNTAINS HERE. AND THE CHANCE FOR A DROP OR TWO ELSEWHERE BETWEEN FIVE TO ABOUT 8:00 THIS EVENING. OTHERWISE, IT IS VERY DRY AND QUIET, ALLOWING FOR A CHILLY NIGHT AHEAD AND A CHILLY MONDAY. WE STRUGGLE TO HIT 40 DEGREES. WE COULD SEE SOME SPOTS TO THE
