Zahara Jolie-Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, may have offended her father with her recent maneuver during her Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority induction ceremony.
The 18-year-old described herself as Zahara Marley Jolie, eliminating the ‘Pitt’ from her surname. This action, which looked to be a disguised message to her father, was spotted by social media users.
The Meet Joe Black actor revealed in a 2011 confession that Zahara’s adoption transformed his outlook on life.
Brad claimed that he felt an immediate connection with infant Zahara after taking her into his arms.
“I have seen children suffer far beyond what we experience in America — like our oldest daughter [Zahara],” Brad admitted while discussing Zahara’s Ethiopian heritage.
Brad’s strong feelings for Zahara may be harmed when her daughter identifies herself as Zahara Marley Jolie.
During the wedding, Twitter users were quick to notice Zahara’s choice of name. According to one user, “I wasn’t gonna say anything, but I definitely peeped that Zahara left Pitt off her last name.”
Another concurred, pointing out that Zahara described herself as ‘Jolie,’ not ‘Jolie-Pitt.’
Some viewed Zahara’s decision to leave ‘Pitt’ out of her last name as a purposeful omission, implying that Brad Pitt did not “deserve a mention” in this momentous point in her life.
A fan endorsed Zahara’s decision, praising Angelina Jolie’s role as a “single” mother and applauding Zahara’s emphasis on ‘Jolie.’
This event is similar to previous Us Weekly claims concerning Maddox, Zahara’s older brother, who is alleged to use ‘Jolie’ instead of ‘Jolie-Pitt’ in non-legal paperwork.
Angelina, 48, and Brad, 59, who married in 2005 and divorced in 2016, have four other children: Pax, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both 15. Despite the fact that they were deemed legally single in 2019, their custody fight remains unresolved.
