Ashley Jensen and Kenny Doughty, Who Both Starred in Love, Lies, and Records, Recently Got Married

Ashley Jensen remarried six years after her husband committed suicide.

The 54-year-old actress, who is presently appearing as DI Ruth Calder in the BBC program Shetland, married her long-term boyfriend Kenny Doughty.

The couple exchanged wedding vows in front of close relatives and friends at the historic Priston Mill in Bath in a “super fun” and emotional ceremony.

The Afterlife actress looked stunning in an off-white gown with floral embroidery, pink platform shoes, and her million-dollar smile.

A friend of Ashley told the Daily Mail, “She looked just so, so happy.”

“She was smiling and laughing, it was simply idyllic. There appeared to be so much love in that room,” they said.

Jensen and Doughty met on the set of their BBC miniseries Love, Lies, and Records in 2017 and have been inseparable since.

The actress was previously married to EastEnders actor Terence Beesley for 10 years and had been together for 18 years before he committed suicide at their Somerset home in 2017. The former couple had a son named Francis, who is now 14 years old.

Meanwhile, Doughty was married for 11 years to British actress Caroline Carver before their divorce in the same year.
