John Goodman, who is best known for playing Dan Conner, hints that the popular crossover show The Conners may be coming to an end.
In an interview with France 24, Goodman said, “I think we may be coming to an end on it, I’m not sure.”
He thought about how long the show had been on and said, “It’s lasted longer than I thought we would. It was just supposed to be like an eight [episode] show and out thing at one point, but they picked us up again, and they keep picking us up.”
ABC has decided not to say anything public about the matter. But a network source who spoke to TVLine said that there have been no talks about ending the spinoff after Season 6.
“The Conners” just finished its fifth season, which had an average of 5 million people and a 0.7 demo rating (including Live+7 playback). This is a 6% increase in viewers from Season 4, while the demo rating only went down a little bit.
