Johnny Depp, an actor from Hollywood, kicked off the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2023 with a video for the event. This happened hours after his ex-wife Amber Heard returned to social media on Friday.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star posted a trailer for the festival on Instagram to kick off the event, even though he won’t be there in person. Instead, he’ll be there on screen.

He posted the trailer with the description, “The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival has just started! Here is this year’s brand new festival trailer starring Johnny Depp.”

Depp posted the video a few hours after his ex-wife Amber Heard posted on social media for the first time since they settled their defamation case in December of last year.

She went on Instagram and posted a picture from the world opening of her new movie In the Fire at the Taormina Film Fest in Italy to thank her millions of fans.

Amber Heard said, “Thank you so much for giving my new movie, In the Fire, such a warm welcome at the Taormina Film Festival.

“It was an unforgettable weekend. #InTheFire.”
