VOICE OF RUIN bring forth “Bloody Salvation” music video from upcoming album ‘Cold Epiphany’

Swiss melodic death metal outfit Voice Of Ruin has unveiled a new music video for their upcoming track “Bloody Salvation” from their fifth album Cold Epiphany set to release on December 1st.

Directed by Cédric Friedli, the video is now available for viewing. Produced, recorded, and mixed by guitarist Nicolas Haerri at L12 Studio and mastered by Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering, the album features artwork by Travis Smith

The band shared that the album is the result of an extensive writing process beginning in 2020, with guitarist Nicolas taking charge of production, recording, and mixing. Cold Epiphany is a collection of the band’s best and heaviest music created over the past four years and is not a concept album according to the band.

Voice Of Ruin draws lyrical inspiration from historical tragedies and a dystopian future, while incorporating a blend of modern and classic influences that make it challenging to categorize their style.

The band shares:

We are so excited to release this new album because we have never taken so much time. Says the band about this new release. Especially since each member has gone through difficult times as well as life challenges since the release of Acheron back in 2019, a few months before the pandemic.

The writing process of this fourth album began at the end of 2020 and lasted until the end of last year. In fact we kept only 10 titles out of the 40 demos we had recorded. For the first time, our guitarist Nicolas took charge of production, recording and mixing and we are super happy with the result. Cold Epiphany is not a concept album but a blend of the best and heaviest music we have created over the last four years.
