Bengals giving back to community through food distribution with Freestore Foodbank


Members of the Cincinnati Bengals are getting into the giving spirit as the holiday season quickly approaches.Several players spent their off day on Tuesday giving back to the community at the Fifth Third Bank in Madisonville, where the team hosted a holiday meal distribution with the Freestore Foodbank.Families in need were able to drive through the distribution line and receive a holiday box of food, including turkey, ham, macaroni and cheese, potatoes and more.The Bengals, Fifth Third Bank and Freestore Foodbank provided 2,000 holiday meal kits to families through the event.Star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase spent his Tuesday out in the community as well, providing free Thanksgiving meals to 100 local families in need.The 23-year-old visited Silverton Elementary School and partnered with Integrity Express Logistics for the event, passing out food and sitting down for conversations with fans. Chase made a similar gesture last November, teaming up with Kroger for a surprise turkey giveaway in Oakley.
