Taylor Swift is grateful to have boyfriend Travis Kelce by her side as she deals with the heartbreaking loss of a fan at her concert venue.
The Grammy-winning artist, 33, released an impassioned statement in memory of Ana Clara Benevides, 23, who died of a heart collapse at Rio de Janeiro’s Estadio Nilton Santos.
Swift stated that she is “overwhelmed by grief when [she] even tries to talk about it,” and that she “feel[s] this loss deeply and [her] broken heart goes out to her family and friends.”
According to an insider, the August vocalist is “so grateful she’s had Travis” at this trying period.
“He’s been a huge support system for her right now. Her family has been there, but it’s different to have a boyfriend to lean on,” a source added.
“She was completely beside herself and it’s been so hard for her to talk about,” the source continues, adding that the singer’s staff “reached out” to the fan’s family.
The Lavender Haze singer also looks to be postponing certain Thanksgiving celebrations in order to spend the holiday in Brazil. According to Page Six, Swift’s parents may be joining her.
Her plans, however, will be up to a ‘last-minute’ decision.
