Travis Kelce’s Wonderful Reaction to a Taylor Swift Fan at an Eagles Game

Travis Kelce enjoys the fact that more Swifties are becoming interested in football, much to the chagrin of normal ESPN fans.

In fact, the NFL star couldn’t help but smile as a fan held a Taylor Swift-inspired banner during Monday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Videos on the internet show the Chiefs tight end waving and smiling at fans from the sidelines. Viewers noticed what Kelce was grinning at when the camera panned over to the stands: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs!” said a young girl holding a giant banner.

Swift’s dramatic lyric change during the Argentina leg of her Eras Tour earlier this month was referenced in the line.

During her performance of Karma, the Grammy-winning artist made a tribute to her new partner by changing the original line “Karma is the guy on the screen/ Coming straight home to me” to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs.”

Though Kelce appeared uncomfortable and reddened at first, he appears to be enjoying the now-viral lyric alteration as he couldn’t help but smile at the sign.

“Aww. His smile when he saw it! [red heart emoji]” exclaimed one enthusiast, while another said, “His little smile aw.”

Meanwhile, others hastened to defend any Swifties who were being chastised by long-time football fans.

“To all the men in this comment section getting defensive because there’s a new fan base interested in your thing chill,” a user wrote.
