Allcove Beach Cities, a youth mental health center, celebrates 1st anniversary
The allcove Beach Cities, a youth mental wellness center, recently celebrated its first year of operation.
The facility, on the fourth floor of the Beach Cities Health District, in Redondo Beach, provides free mental health services for youth ages 12 to 25 in a safe space meant to reduce stigma, embrace mental wellness and increase community connection.

At the anniversary event on Saturday, Nov. 18, attendees listened to live music, viewed an art show put on in conjunction with the Hermosa Beach nonprofit Indivisible Arts, made jewelry, ate free food and participated in other activities.
Since it opened on Nov. 1, 2022, allcove has had more than 4,000 visits and enrolled more than 430 people in free services.
