Nut consumption linked to improved sperm quality in men, review finds

Walnuts.

If you are pursuing a direct and palatable approach to enhance your probability of conceiving a child, you may wish to consider incorporating nuts into your daily routine. Why do you ask? A recent research review, spearheaded by Monash University, has revealed that the inclusion of nuts in your diet could potentially increase male fertility by optimizing the quality of sperm.

The review, published in Advances in Nutrition, is the first of its kind to examine the evidence on the link between nuts and fertility in both men and women. It analyzed four studies, including two that randomly assigned healthy men on a Western-style diet to eat at least 60 grams (two handfuls) of nuts per day or a similar diet without nuts.
