ONEIDA — At Tuesday’s Common Council meeting, Oneida resident Scott Parker spoke during public comment about the Oneida City Police Department’s gun range in the city and near the property of Middle Road.

Parker’s property is adjacent to the old Oneida city landfill, which sits behind the Oneida bus garage on Freedom Drive. “In my estimation, they’re around 100 yards from the property, and it’s pointing straight at my property, and my family is out there all the time working on the land.”
