After 14 months of marriage, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari look to be in a better position amid their protracted divorce settlement.

According to previous reports, negotiations became tense as they began their settlement while maintaining their ‘iron-clad’ prenuptial agreement in place, which Asghari reportedly planned to challenge.

He allegedly promised to reveal the popstar’s secrets in order to secure a favorable agreement.

According to a Page Six article, the former couple is no longer on speaking terms and is only contact with each other through their divorce lawyers.

According to TMZ, the Grammy-winning artist, 41, and the Black Monday actor, 29, are “no longer toxic after a turbulent few months” and their divorce is “almost finalized.”

According to sources, Asghari is renting an apartment in Los Angeles for “$10,000 per month,” which is paid for by the Gimme More singer. Furthermore, Spears will be “signing away a pretty sweet cheque” to her ex-husband in the “low six figures.”

Spears and Asghari married last June after dating for five years. In August, after 14 months of marriage, the Iranian-American model filed for divorce.
