FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) – Xcel Energy held a ribbon cutting for its new innovation hub in downtown Fargo

The new center will allow for employees to have a community area to come and work.

Xcel touched on how it will also be used to host events to help bring the community together.

Leaders at Xcel made it a priority to be in downtown Fargo, joining a growing technology hub in the neighborhood.

“We have three different pods of space designed for meeting rooms and collaboration around the whole theme of innovation. In our case we will be working with customers and suppliers of regular giving company updates for example but also hosting for nonprofits.” Said Xcel Energy’s Principle Manager Tony Grindberg.

The space will be shared with teams from the Downtown Community partnership and the Downtown Fargo Business Improvement District.
