CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A car crashed into a fence at an east Charlotte home Wednesday around 4:45 a.m. The crash led to a lane closure, but has since cleared.

Mecklenburg EMS said it did not respond to the scene, but the Charlotte Fire Department did. 

WCNC Charlotte is working to learn more about what led up to the crash.
