BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Capitol Theater in downtown Bowling Green has many things on the itinerary for the holiday season, from a play, talks from authors and a movie marathon the day after Christmas.

This Friday they will host an appearance by the Grinch and light up their building green and red to celebrate Downtown BG Lights Up, says librarian Magnolia Gramling.

“On Friday, we’ll be bringing the Grinch to do a story time. And the Grinch himself will be here to take photos and greet children. So that’s our portion. But there will be a lot of other things happening downtown specifically. We will watch it all come to life,” Gramling said.
