BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hope House Ministries is once again accepting unwrapped, new toys for its yearly toy drive.

Donations are being accepted during the 6 p.m. showing of “It’s A Wonderful Life” at the Capitol Theater on Wednesday, Nov. 29 in downtown Bowling Green. They are also accepted throughout the coming weeks via their website, says director of marketing and communication Casey Hammons.

This season is expected to be the busiest on record for the group.

“Children get six toys. And so, that multiplied by 1600 kids this year is a lot of toys. And so every year, as the donations increase, we’re able to add more and more families that can participate in affordable Christmas,” Hammons said.

Monetary donations are also accepted, and toys can be purchased directly from the group at hopehousebg.com/christmas.

The toys will be available in their store, where approved families in need are able to shop for what they need or their children want rather than being given things they may not use.
