Calling all book lovers and holiday shoppers! The Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library Bookstore are holding their annual Holiday Gift Book Sale this weekend, December 1st, 2nd & 3rd. In addition to gently used books, unique handcrafted works from local artisans will be sold on December 3rd, the last day of the three-day sale.
The event will take place in the Library Community Room at 1115 El Centro Street in South Pasadena. the sale features an extensive curated collection of current and classic fiction and childrens books, stunning art and coffee table books, antiquarian collectibles, and a wide variety of non-fiction items.
Featured at the Sunday Market Place will be photographer Cyndi Bemel’s greeting cards, Ceramics by Germaine Defendi, Upcycled Accessories by Jeanie Joe, Recycled Fabric Arts by Vanora Savig, Beaded Jewelry by Christine Yelich, and Indigo Fabrics by South Pasadena Community Garden.
Complimentary gift wrap will be available while supplies last and the sale will continue through December in the Friends’ Bookstore on the 2nd floor of the library.
Sale hours are Friday 6pm-8pm, Saturday 11am-3pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm
