Reggie Bond, Josie Gibson’s five-year-old son, has offered a touching message for his mother.
The youngster came at Brisbane Airport for his first journey to Australia to greet his mother as she left I’m A Celebrity.
Reggie, wearing a Team Josie T-shirt and sitting on a baggage trolley, firmly stated, ‘I think that my mommy’s going to win.’
Reggie, who is used to sleeping with his mother every night, was accompanied by This Morning presenter Josie’s best friend, Mia Williams, who is also from Bristol and has been caring for Reggie and Romey Williams.
The trio arrived at Brisbane Airport at 9:45 a.m., and Ms. Williams commented, ‘He’s coped really well considering she’s been gone for a couple of weeks now.’
‘It’s the longest they’ve been apart; it’s obviously tough all around, but he’s been dealing with it well, but it’s tough for her, you can see that. She is missing him, but she’s doing it for him – she wants him to see her on the TV,’ she explained.
Reggie Bond, 38, stayed with his father, Terry Bond, a property developer who has known the Big Brother star for over 20 years, while Josie, 38, was in the jungle.
The couple began dating in 2017 but split up when Reggie was five months old in 2018. He has also been staying with Ms. Williams, who has recorded the episodes and has allowed him to watch them the following day because the show airs after his bedtime.
