Health Update on Eamonn Holmes’ Spine Stretching Procedure Following Surgery and Fall

Eamonn Holmes, the host of GB News Breakfast, gave another report on his health on Thursday, when he had a procedure to stretch his spine and neck.

The 63-year-old presenter recently said that he had trouble moving around. He said that he “can’t walk” because he had spinal surgery in September of the previous year and then had a bad fall.

Holmes shared a picture of himself while he was strapped to a table for spinal decompression. He found humor in his position.

He was held down by straps on his shoulders and on his head, which he jokingly compared to an old-school sweatband.

His comment said, “I look like an 80’s Disco dancer … but actually on a rack having my neck and back stretched. Spine decompression.”

As always, his wife Ruth Langford was there for him and wrote, “Ouch! I like the 80’s vibe though!”

In a chat with guest Tim Franklin, who is currently on a world tour, the popular TV host talked openly about his struggles since he had spinal surgery and a scary fall in September of last year.

As Tim talked about his back problems, Eamonn said, “I can’t run, I can’t walk, I can’t do anything except watch TV and eat.”

He talked more about the problems he has had by saying, “I just got problems last year in my back, which I haven’t recovered from. It’s not good, it’s not a good recipe I have to say.”
