Robb Report has published its Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide for 2023, described as the most spectacular list of presents in the world on a first-come, first-serve basis. This year’s list is comprised of rare finds, bespoke offerings and unique experiences, ranging from buying out a private island in the Maldives to a week of foraging and cooking in the Caribbean Grand Cayman with Eric Ripert.
All the offerings in the Robb Report Ultimate Gift Guide are exclusive to the publication and are curated by its editors.
For $137,500, jewelers David and Evan Yurman will open their personal vault, which they’ve been filling with rare finds for more than 20 years. The father-and-son duo has traveled the world seeking out unusual stones, including a Windex-blue Paraíba tourmaline, a mystical-looking Colombian emerald, and a moody, purplish-gray spinel. They will invite one customer to their Tribeca design studio, where they’ll give a tour of the workshop and take them out for a festive lunch. Afterward, the customer can select a gemstone, and collaborate with the Yurmans on a custom design to showcase it.
Robb Report is offering a special transatlantic partnership between English mill Fox Brothers, one of the most famous fabric manufacturers in the world, and Paolo Martorano Bespoke, one of America’s most accomplished tailors. Fox Brothers is opening its vaults to six Robb Report readers to select from more than two dozen vintage and archived materials for Martorano to incorporate into a capsule collection of two suits and two sport coats, one pairing for spring and summer, the other for the colder months. The total cost of the experience is $32,500.
Sneakerhead Justin James, the founder of Opie Way, is offering one lucky fellow sneaker fanatic the chance to collaborate on a sneaker with him that will be available on the Opie Way website for sale.
The experience will include three consultations with James, with material swatches shipped for review as the design takes shape. Once the signature sneaker is finalized and put up for sale for a limited time, it’s guaranteed coverage on the brand’s social media channels. The collaborator will also receive five numbered, handmade pairs to gift to friends and family. The cost of the experience is $14,400.
Accessories and jewelry designer Silvia Furmanovich is offering a Robb Report reader the chance to collaborate with jewelry boutique Broken English Jewelry on a bespoke marquetry clutch. The suede-lined bag will be crafted by artisans in the Brazilian state of Acre, which borders Peru and Bolivia, at a price point of $9,600 for the full collaboration experience.
Emerald lovers will have a rare opportunity at a price of $31,250 (excluding the emerald and finished jewelry piece) to join Muzo Emerald to discover its rare emeralds with a trained gemologist, followed by a multicourse tasting menu curated by a team of Michelin-starred chefs at the French fine-dining hot spot Le Jardinier.
The two lucky customers selected for this experience will also visit Muzo’s New York office at Rockefeller Plaza to hand-select an emerald, enjoy lunch and have a meet and greet with a company design partner who will design a one-of-a-kind piece using the selected stone. This experience also comes with first-class airfare and two nights in a five-star hotel suite.
