A TIKTOKER has stumbled across an “awesome” car gadget which she claims can eliminate windshield fog in three seconds.

The online creator praised the handy product and explained in a video how it could be used to address potentially-dangerous steam.

Demisting your car windscreen can be a tedious but necessary task when the temperature starts to plummet, as it has now in the UK, and moisture in the air inside your car turns to condensation.

The condensation is what makes your car’s windows appear foggy, and must be mitigated to maintain good visibility when driving.

One TikToker believes she has the perfect solution to foggy car windows.

A video she shared to her page began with a shot of a car with a windshield covered in ice and cut to a pair of hands behind a driving wheel holding a mini portable space heater.

The creator, whose handle is @jabulda, called the gadget an “awesome car windshield defogger”.

She explained: “In winter, the car glass fog[s]. This car heater can eliminate the fog in three seconds.

“The warm air can quickly improve the temperature in the car, even without air conditioning. The car is also very warm.”

Hands were then seen in the video peeling a sticker from the base of the gadget, making the bottom of it sticky so it attached easily to the car dash.

A cord trailed from the back of the gadget and led to a plug which was inserted into the car’s port.

Small switches on the gadget were used to turn on and off the fan.

The Epmann mini portable space heater can be purchased on Amazon for £12.69.

It is small with a depth of 5cm, width of 11.3cm, and height of 12.3cm and weighs just 280g.

One UK resident who bought the product wrote in a review that it was “Perfect 4 No Build Campervan”.

They said: “I’ve set up a 150*120*60cm grow tent in my car so that my body heat will reflect back onto me. Also hung up this little heater so that it’s blowing hot air downwards towards me.

“Auto shut off so it doesn’t drain my leisure battery. If it gets cold again, I just switch it back on. Will buy again.”

It comes in various colours, including white, black, and rose gold.

With winter now here, many are scurrying to find cheap ways to defog their windows.

One company, Victor Tools, came up with a genius “magic mitt” invention which they claim eliminates mist and fog from car windows “as fast as waving a wand”.

They stated: “No more waiting for your car heater to clear your windshield on chilly mornings.

“This specially-treated mitt not only clears the mist, it stops it forming, for clearer, safer vision!”

Meanwhile, another “super fast” gadget from Argos can warm up the interior of a vehicle almost “instantly” to defog windscreens and keep the ice away on winter days.

The heater is easy to use and all you need to do to get it working is plug it into your car’s power socket.
