Knoxville Museum of Art debuts new name, new lineup for concert series

The Knoxville Museum of Art’s signature concert series has a lineup of diverse artists and genres set for 2023-24 season, and a new name to go with it.

Formerly known as “Alive After Five,” the series blending music and visual art is being rebranded as “Soundscapes at the KMA.”

“Soundscapes is more than just a concert series” coordinator Brian Clay said in a press release. “It’s the fusion … of music performance and fantastic visual art, one-of-a-kind performances with the exhibitions and collections of the KMA as a backdrop.”

Attendees can enjoy curated performances, cocktails and dancing in Bailey Hall, and explore the art on view as music weaves through the galleries.
