The Best Part Of Slow Fashion? Cultnaked’s Partywear By Mary Furtas

With the days getting shorter and darker and festive spirit in full swing, there is no month like December that’s quite so perfect for parties. Enters CultNaked, a Ukrainian luxury party-wear brand that offers form-fitting, unapologetically sexy garments designed for after-dark hours, all with a heavy dose of eco-friendliness infused.

Founded by photographer Mary Furtas in 2018, CultNaked was born out of Furtas’ original party-girl status and her love for a good time. “Dance like everyone’s watching,” CultNaked quickly became the top destination for any it-girl to locate the perfect nocturnal wardrobe to take her dancing all through the night into the early-hours of the morning.

Filling the gap between feel-good night-time looks and responsible slow fashion, there’s nothing like CultNaked’s butter-soft vegan leather separates to lift up your mood for a good soirée. With the full production taking place in the brand’s Lviv atelier, CultNaked champions inclusivity and quality by offering playful, sexy staples from XXS to XXL, with the utilization of innovative, premium eco-fabrics.

CultNaked’s seasonless collections feature a range of disco-ready separates including ultra-mini skorts (perfect for dancing on tables), sleek vegan and eco-leather sets in a range of colorways and bedazzled crystal-embellished dresses made in fabrics that repurpose recycled sea plastics. The latest release sees CultNaked update its sell-out Stardust range in a copper-toned gold. Fan favorite? The iconic Onyx Mini-Mini Skort, which also comes in black, pink and PVC caramel — most recently spotted on Hailey Bieber (twice)!

With the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war, the past year has seen Furtas and her label come face-on with the challenges of running an independent business based entirely out of Lviv. Through this period of adversity, Furtas continues to champion a hopeful, keep-dancing-on spirit that became core to CultNaked’s DNA. The brand’s community keeps growing rapidly, counting Kendall Jenner, Arianna Grande, Chloe Bailey, and Megan Fox amongst its notable fans.

A sustainability driven and environmentally conscious brand, CultNaked introduced Made To Order initiative early on in their journey to limit overproduction and reduce unnecessary inventory. According to Furtas, CultNaked does not rely on seasonal sales to propel revenue: “No stock, no exaggerated markups over the year = no seasonal stock leftovers = more conscious brand”, the self-confessed party girl — recently named on Vogue Business’ 100 Innovators of the year list — shares on Instagram.

In the mood for shopping? Furtas named her top picks for the party season on her social media platform, including BOY trousers, PURRR coat, CHESTNUT LVIV bomber, BASE top, and finally, SPIKE skort.
