Broadway Star Alicia Keys’ ‘Hell’s Kitchen’

With previews commencing March 28, Alicia Keys and co-writer Ramin Karimloo deliver a new musical.

The musical Hell’s Kitchen, co-written by 15-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, will make its Broadway premiere this spring. The musical will begin previews at the Shubert Theatre on March 28, 2024, with an opening night date of April 20, 2024.

Hell’s Kitchen is a semi-autobiographical story about Ali, a young lady attempting to realize her goals in New York City. Keys’ music will be featured, as will a book by Ramin Karimloo, who will also star in the play.

“I’m so excited to bring Hell’s Kitchen to Broadway,” Keys stated in a statement. “This story is so close to my heart, and I can’t wait to share it with audiences on the Great White Way.”

Hell’s Kitchen is the latest in a long line of successful Broadway musicals based on musicians’ lives. Jersey Boys, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, and Tina: The Tina Turner Musical are among such examples.

Hell’s Kitchen is sure to appeal to people of all ages. The show boasts a catchy soundtrack, a wonderful tale, and a stellar ensemble.
