CPS hears Nutrition Services update, meal debt figures


Columbia Public Schools amassed about $69,000 of school meal debt from August to late November, district officials shared Wednesday ahead of the Columbia School Board’s Monday meeting.

The debt is from students who can pay for their school meals but have not, Nutrition Services Director Laina Fullum said at the Columbia Public Schools Finance Committee meeting.
