Prime Video, Sky, SBS, RTE among latest buyers of Peninsula Television docs


Peninsula’s Kennedy, Sinatra & the Mafia has been sold around the world

Amazon’s Prime Video and broadcasters Sky, SBS and RTE are among a host of buyers of Peninsula Television documentaries via distributor Abacus Media Rights.

Prime Video in the UK, Sky in New Zealand and Ireland’s RTE have acquired The Heiress & the Heist (3×60’), as have Sundance Now in the US, Digital Store in the US, Canada, Australia and India, Intervision in Greece and Greek-speaking Cyprus, and Pickbox in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia (including the regions of Kosovo and Vojvodina), Slovenia and Bulgaria.

Prime Video in the UK has also picked up Confessions of a Crime Boss (3×60’) and Scissor Sisters (2×60’), while BBC Studios in the US has bought Murdered: The Baby on the Beach (3×60’).

RTE has also acquired Kennedy, Sinatra & the Mafia (1×90’), as have SBS in Australia, VRT in Belgium, D-Media in the Middle East and Czech TV in the Czech Republic.
