Plano Police Department Promotes Well-Being with Mental Health and Nutrition Awareness Program

The Plano Police Department is taking a proactive stance in the community by hosting its upcoming Mental Health Resource Awareness Program. To shed light on the often-overlooked connection between nutrition and mental health, the department has arranged for a series of speakers to address the topic, as per the Plano Texas Police Department.

Set for Thursday, December 14th, the event invites the community to gather from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Davis Library Program Room, conveniently located at 7501 Independence Pkwy in the heart of Plano, TX. Those who aim to attend can ensure their spot by registering online.

Giving a platform for health professionals to discuss the intersection of diet and mental well-being, the program seeks to educate the public on ways nutrition can be a pivotal aspect of managing mental health. With mental health concerns on the rise, such initiatives highlight the importance of holistic approaches to addressing these challenges.

For additional information or inquiries about the program, Plano residents and interested parties are encouraged to reach out to Nicole Bowers through email at [email protected] or by phone at 972-941-2292, per the Plano Texas Police Department.
