I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! spoilers follow.

After cutting down its four finalists to a top three of Sam Thompson, Tony Bellew and Nigel Farage, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has crowned its 2023 King of the Jungle.

After a classic I’m A Celeb finale, Sam Thompson was been crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! 2023.

Former politician Nigel Farage came in third, with professional boxer Tony Bellew achieving runner-up status.

After being announced as King of the Jungle, Sam said, “I didn’t think I was ever going to be invited on this show!”

Before being crowned by This Morning host Josie Gibson, he added, “I’ve dreamt of doing this show… and [the viewers] have made a boy’s dream come true.”

Runner up Tony, who told Ant and Dec, “[Sam] is your King of the Jungle,” in an interview before the results were announced, had a few words of reflection to congratulate Sam with, too.

“I’ve never met a person like [Sam],” Tony said after Sam’s win. “He deserves it more than anything and I’m made up for him.”

After Nigel’s exit earlier in the show, the former politician told Ant and Dec, “I came into it with a positive attitude… to be honest with you, I’ve loved it.”

The episode also saw the celebrities complete individual trials for enough stars to win a final feast in camp.

Tony had to be strapped to a giant plate, and endure an assortment of jungle critters being poured over him; for every two minutes he stayed put, he would win a star – and he won all five.

Sam’s trial was an eating one; he had to eat five dishes, for a star each. His ‘meals’ consisted of a witchetty grub, a camel toe, a fish eye, a scorpio, a pig’s vagina and a camel’s penis. He also triumphed, winning five stars.

Nigel’s trial was the Panic Pit; similarly to Tony, he was strapped down and had to last ten minutes for five stars in a pit full of critters. Despite Nigel being underground and covered in snakes, he won five stars.

The celebs then enjoyed a full feast in camp.
