Reports say that Taylor Swift has been quietly dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The Messenger reported on Tuesday that a source said the two have been spending time together. The source said that Taylor saw Travis while she was in New York City.

Travis Kelce had said that he had tried to talk to Taylor Swift at one of her concerts in July, but that it didn’t work out. This new development comes after he said that.

The football player had written the pop star’s phone number on a bracelet that he planned to give to her.

But when he went to one of Taylor’s shows in Kansas City, he tried but failed to meet her backstage.

Travis talked about his experience on his podcast New Heights, saying, “So she doesn’t meet anybody, and she didn’t—or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personally.”

Travis’s brother, NFL player Jason Kelce, co-hosts the show with him. Travis’s team, the Kansas City Chiefs, played against Travis’s team at this year’s Super Bowl.

Travis went on to say that he was unhappy that Taylor doesn’t talk to fans before or after her shows because she needs to save her voice for all the songs she sings.

He said that he was sorry he couldn’t give her one of the bands he had made for her.
