The Ian McGuire Music Scholarship Fund (IMMSF) has partnered with Papadosio for an impending event dubbed Dream Out Loud. The occasion is slated to take place on Dec. 15 at Denver’s Mission Ballroom to raise funds for the choice charity. Included is music from Desert Dwellers, Snakes & Stars, and 5 AM Trio. 

The evening will be headlined and hosted by Papadosio. The ensemble has promised to deliver a unique fan-driven setlist during the event. Fans can go online leading up to the show and vote for their favorite Papadosio songs. The winning songs then determine the setlist for Friday’s performance. 

All voting fans are automatically entered to win a package that includes tickets and other VIP extras. In a special tribute to Ian McGuire, $1 from every ticket sold for “Dream Out Loud” will benefit IMMSF. Moreover, the scholarship derives from McGuire’s educational-driven legacy as a talented musician and teacher. The Ian McGuire Music Scholarship Fund raises funds to further IMMSF’s mission of providing educational resources and access to musicians. 

Via press release, Papadosio’s Sam Brouse commented on the impending event, touching on the sentiment of McGuire’s impact on his own career, “I don’t think Ian had realized how much his playing inspired me to learn more about the piano – and teaching his playing has always, and still does, inspire me.”
