ASTORIA — Anna Kaufman and Roy Sanchez have been announced as recipients of the Agnes Field Artist Award from Astoria Visual Arts.

The award is open to artists living in Clatsop, Pacific or Wahkiakum counties. It provides funding between $250 and $1,000 for a project proposed by the artist, which may include support for materials, travel, equipment and submission fees.

Agnes Field is an Oregon artist and founding board member of Astoria Visual Arts as well as the Tillicum Foundation. Her work has been shown nationally, including at the Portland Art Museum and Coos Art Museum.
