DAR ES SALAAM: FROM Russia With Love has been a global novel and action motion picture, but  Dar es Salaam heads to witness a rare innovation from Russian model, Katerina Volkova, who is in the country now.

She insisted during her recent interview with the Daily News that fashion  can be a good platform to tell a story to a targeted audience through clothing and creativity, moreover, it has succeeded in delivering the best message.

Speaking in the city, Volkova, a model from Russia, says that through fashion one can use it to promote a company and become self-sufficient.

According to her, she plans to open a kid’s academy which will involve 500 kids in the country.

Adding, she said the academy will include modeling, acting, and TV hosting; these all are based on the media industry.

Furthermore, she said the kids will have advert and promo shoots, act in movies and series as well hosting TV programs.

Revealing the reason why she plans to open the academy, she said:”It  is because of the experience she attained all her years in the modeling industry.

‘’This year I became the best International model in Swahili fashion week; thus a good start and that is when I got the idea of starting an academy,’’ she added.
