WEST CHESTER, PA ─ The Pennsylvania Art Education Association recognized the West Chester School District’s commitment to art education with the endorsement of “Outstanding Visual Arts Community 2023.

“One of the first things that I noticed while touring buildings as part of my initial week in the West Chester Area School District was the outstanding student visual art on display in all our 17 schools,” Dr. David Christopher, superintendent, said.

“This recognition is a true reflection of the collective efforts of our educators, students, and the entire school community and we are very honored to receive this endorsement.”

Districts receiving the endorsement demonstrate the importance of their visual arts programs.
The classes are taught with highly qualified teachers for all of the students. They also provide websites and social media.

The schools offer opportunities to prepare students to work in creative industries as well as prepare them for skills needed across all aspects of life.
