Kanye West has hinted a major career move with the launch of YEWS, a news portal.

Following a live webcast of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures album, the rapper launched the Yews.News website.

The website is presently only accessible via mobile, with two specific drop-down options labeled ’10AM’ and ‘3PM’.

It also features various articles about the rapper, as well as fashion, politics, pop culture, sports, technology, and other topics.

The Donda rapper generated outrage in early October when he allegedly attempted to trademark the term “YEWS” across various industries.

Due to his problematic history of anti-Semitism, Internet users assumed the made-up phrase is a combination of his name Ye and Jews.

However, based on the style of the website, it appears to be a combination of his initial and news.

Yews.News is now a demo website that the rapper’s crew has been using to test their production, according to The Sun.

An insider told the magazine about West’s lofty aspirations for the news portal.

“Ye’s plan is to give people something different than they get from the mainstream,” he said.

The source went on to say: “He is convinced it could be a huge success if he does it the right way and his team have secretly been working on it for months.”

“Ye is really invested in this project and has a team testing the production daily.”

“If he manages to pull this off it has the potential to become absolutely massive,” said the source.
